#GiveorGift – How to make a Secret Santa meaningful again!
Check out our #GiveOrGift Appeal
What is #GiveorGift ? We’ve teamed up with the UK Money Bloggers to promote an alternative to all the wasted money involved with secret santa in the workplace via #GiveOrGift
Just launched, #GiveOrGift aims to put the money wasted when unwanted gifts are thrown away to better use for others by supporting 6 important UK charities. Essentially, it’s a fabulous idea to give colleagues in the work place a chance to ask for a donation to charity easily, rather than putting something random down (and ending up with something even more random and never used). With secret santa costs usually being £5-£10, the funding to charity really can make a difference to others, so please get involved. If the boss has arranged one, hijack it and suggest a #GiveorGift secret santa instead.
The charities supported are:
- Stand Up To Cancer
- Shelter
- BBC Children in Need
- Shelter
- DEC Appeal
- Trussell Trust
