My daughter has one of these at University for printing essays so you can imagine how much ink she gets through. The subscription service saves her lots of money. I am jealous everytime I see it!!!!

The thing about Instant Ink is that it is only cheaper if you do a reasonable amount of printing and want the convenience of the next one arriving on your doorstep. On my now dead HP4527 I never used the full month’s worth of pages and buying cartridges when they were on special in Rymans etc. was the cheapest option.
Completely agree, depends on your use and needs. For b/w text, essays etc, seems cheap cartridges on offer with a standard printer is the way to go. For larger colour photo, flyer, business use the instant ink can save a good chunk of cash.

I have an aged HP printer that works well (most of the time) but a twin pack of black and colour cartridges is now £58 !!!!! Far more than the printer cost me.

thanks for offering this great prize, as a busy family with school and college we are always printing, it’s a great spec printer and with the ink being part of the package I will not have to think about running our of ink for a long time.
